The next step in See and Learn Language and Reading is now available. See and Learn Sentences 1 is designed to help children with Down syndrome learn to read, understand and to use longer sentences when talking.

See and Learn Sentences 1 teaches grammar rules, sight words and new vocabulary with graded reading books, picture and word matching and selecting, and sentence building activities. The teaching activities build on the children's relative strengths in visual processing, advance in small steps and offer lots of opportunities for practice and consolidation.

See and Learn Sentences 1 can be used to support activities recommended in the Reading and Language Intervention for Children with Down Syndrome (RLI) when working with beginning readers.
