Call for papers

If you would like to present at this year’s Forum, please submit a 200 word abstract to research@dseinternational.org by 30 June 2019. The abstract should contain the title, names of all authors, contact details of first author, and summary of your presentation.

This guideline is informal as we receive a range of different types of submission. The Committee will review abstracts and will publish the full programme by 19 July 2019.

We welcome presentations of research work in progress as well as of completed work. We also welcome presentations from practitioners who may wish to share their experiences of using particular interventions or to share service models. Single case studies are welcome.

We are keen to continue to develop the Down Syndrome Research Forum as a place where families, practitioners and researchers can share expertise and learn from each other. As such, we ask to focus on work that has a direct relevance to the lives of those with Down syndrome and their families as well as practitioners and professionals working with individuals with Down syndrome. We welcome individual submissions but we would also welcome any suggestions for symposia if you wish to organise one.
